February 2013: London Fashion Week. Ultraviolet recently edited the music at Burberry’s AW13 show in London. This season’s collection received widespread acclaim and featured a surprise live performance by the BRIT’s Critic Choice award winner, Tom Odell. December 2012: James May’s Toy Stories returns to BBC 2 for a brand new Christmas edition. In this one-off special, James attempts to fulfil a lifelong ambition to design and fly an unmanned toy glider 20 miles over the ocean. James enlists the help of aeronautical engineers, fanatical hobbyists and some very keen students to create the most visually spectacular Toy Story to date. Music for the show is composed by Ultraviolet.

November 2012: Ultraviolet have teamed up again with director Emil Nava to produce a track for the new L’Oreal Elnett commercial, featuring Cheryl Cole. The ad was produced by Pulse Films for McCann Erickson and will run on commercial channels throughout 2013.
October 2012: Amazing Spaces is a new primetime Channel 4 series featuring energetic and enthusiastic architect, George Clarke. The programme explores the extraordinary world of small builds, showing how it’s possible to turn even the tiniest place into a creative living or work space. Ultraviolet worked closely with Plum Pictures to produce music for the show reflecting the quirky, homemade feel of many of the ingeniously designed spaces. George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces is currently being aired on Tuesdays at 8pm.
September 2012: Following the phenomenal success of last year’s Contrex mineral water TV ad campaign, French agency Marcel recently organised a second public event featuring stunning visual effects by Fighting Fish’s Matthieu Jarrot. After setting a building ablaze via projection mapping, the assembled crowd were invited to douse the ‘fire’ with water cannons powered by Contrex’s pink fitness machines. Ultraviolet produced another version of the popular French 60s classic ‘Comment Te Dire Adieu’ to accompany this spectacular event.
August 2012: Summer Daze is a new series on Channel 4 following the lives of ten festival-goers throughout the summer of 2012. The series is being filmed at nine different festivals and is broadcast across Channel 4, E4 and 4Music. Ultraviolet composed the title music, beds and stings. July 2012: Ultraviolet have just produced a track for the new L’Oreal Feria TV ad campaign. The 20 second spot was directed by Emil Nava for McCann Erickson and will run on commercial channels for the remainder of the year.
June 2012: We recently teamed up with our friends at MassiveMusic to produce the music for an Auto Trader commercial entitled ‘Sunrise Sessions’. The 30 second ad which features Malcolm the Mini, is part of a series of five webfilms produced by Superglue.
May 2012: We’ve just composed the music for a two minute promo for US networking company, Cisco. The film was directed by Ollie Solman for Jack Morton Worldwide.
